- Transfers can pause or vanishAmex to ANA normally takes 36 hours to 4 days (ANA says 2–4 business days), and Amex often sends no confirmation until the miles arrive. Amex paused ANA transfers Feb 27–Mar 2, 2026. Transfers sent from mid-August to mid-September 2026 left Amex and never reached ANA; points came back after about 3–4 weeks, some only after escalating to the Amex Executive Office. Screenshot every step, and don't transfer to ANA unless you can wait several days for the seat.Source 1 · Source 2 · Source 3 · Source 4 · Source 5 · checked Oct 2026
